Willow's story

Willow lost her cage-mate and stopped eating from loneliness — guinea pigs genuinely grieve. Our team moved her into the social pen, and within days she was popcorning again and bossing the hay pile.

She wheeks when the fridge opens, purrs during lap time and freezes for nail trims like a professional. She would love a home with a calm female companion — we can help with bonding.

Three steps to adopt

  1. 1. Meet-and-greet. Come and spend time with Willow at the shelter — bring everyone who lives with you.
  2. 2. Home check. A short visit or video call to confirm space, setup and routine suit a Guinea pig · Shorthair.
  3. 3. Homecoming. Sign, pay the fee, and take Willow home with food, records and a month of message support.
