- Two or three shelter visits for meet-and-greets

Foster questions, answered
Usually two weeks: long enough to learn house habits, short enough to plan around. Longer medical recoveries are always optional and agreed in advance.
It happens weekly — foster homes adopt first when it is the right match, and the fee is the same standard adoption fee.
Yes for cats, rabbits and small pets. Dogs need someone home most of the day, so we will steer you to the species that fits your hours.
