Olive's story

Olive lived as a much-loved only cat until her owner moved abroad. She arrived at the shelter polite but bewildered, and spent her first days watching everything from the top of the wardrobe.

Once she decides you are hers, she headbutts, kneads and supervises your reading from very close range. She is low-drama, tidy and quiet — a perfect companion for a working household that wants company without chaos.

Good to know

  • Quiet at night, no dawn chorus
  • Sunbeam professional
  • Accepts brushing, hates belly rubs

  • Indoor or safe-garden home away from busy roads
  • Scratch post, sill perch and one daily play
  • Adult food — roughly £22 a month
  • Annual boosters and weight checks

Ideal home
